To expedite our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a dynamic Partnerships Lead who will be responsible for developing retail channels, offering continuous support to various retail outlets for the promotion of our offerings and to ensure the overall success of the vertical.
The offline retail segment presents a huge opportunity for us as a software product company offering a ‘state-of-the-art’ solution to millions of urban and suburban parents who have begun to feel the effects of increasing device usage by their children. As our Partnerships Lead, you will have a direct effect on the bottom line of the company by ensuring the setup and success of a major offline revenue channel that will complement our online marketing campaigns. You will have the freedom to ideate and implement strategies to attract, train and retain eligible and high performing Retail Partners who will act as our Ambassadors on our quest to develop and deliver intuitive and adaptive products that meet the need of the times.
Ideally you will have a few years of experience in managing partnerships with OEMs, retail outlets, malls and so on. This is a great opportunity to make a foray into software product sales, leveraging years of experience in managing sales teams while also playing a key role in setting up processes and strategizing for growth in a highly scalable business environment.
Ultimately, you will assume profit centre responsibilities in a startup that encourages experimentation and ownership, enabling you to learn more every day on a job that also packs a huge earning potential of approximately 30 lakhs a year.
Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits
Manage Partnerships with retail businesses, OEMs and other brands for Co-Marketing (EdTech)
Research partners, identify key players and generate interest
Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
Negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy
Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally
Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
Keep great ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
Prior experience in a similar role and a strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships.
Experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions.
Relevant degree in Marketing, Communication or similar relevant filed
The ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Great multitasking skills
Attention to details
Highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver.
Familiarity with CRM tools (eg. Salesforce) would be a plus
